October 13, 1954 - Near Montimont, France:
The Montimont Humanoid Encounter
On the evening of October 13, 1954, agricultural machinery salesman Sadi Lévy reported a frightening encounter near Montimont, France, during the country's famous UFO wave.
At approximately 8:00 p.m., Lévy was driving near a brickyard when his car suddenly stalled. His headlights illuminated two strange, small humanoid figures with phosphorescent green bodies, unusually large eyes, and long tails. Terrified, Lévy remained inside his vehicle until the mysterious beings disappeared. His car then reportedly started normally.

Visibly shaken, Lévy reached a café in nearby Sedan, where witnesses reportedly observed his distressed condition. The incident was subsequently investigated by French authorities and reported in the newspaper L'Ardennais on October 15.
Although no spacecraft or physical evidence was discovered, the encounter became one of the more unusual humanoid reports of the 1954 French UFO wave. Skeptics have suggested that Lévy may have mistaken animals for strange creatures, but the precise cause of his experience remains uncertain.
