October 11, 1973 - Pascagoula River in Mississippi, USA:

The Pascagoula UFO Incident

On October 11, 1973, Charles Hickson (42) and Calvin Parker (19) were fishing along the Pascagoula River in Mississippi when they reportedly heard a strange buzzing sound. Looking up, they saw a glowing, oval-shaped craft hovering nearby. Three bizarre humanoid beings emerged, described as having gray, wrinkled skin, claw-like hands, and strange protrusions where their noses and ears should have been.

According to Hickson, the creatures floated toward the men, seized them, and carried them aboard the spacecraft. Inside, a floating, eye-like device reportedly examined Hickson while he remained paralyzed. Approximately 20 minutes later, both men were returned to the riverbank, and the craft disappeared.

Terrified, the men contacted police, who secretly recorded their conversation while leaving them alone in an interrogation room. The recording captured their apparent fear and confusion, rather than any discussion of a hoax.

The incident attracted national attention and was investigated by UFO researcher J. Allen Hynek. Although no conclusive physical evidence emerged, both men maintained that their experience was genuine. The Pascagoula encounter remains one of America's most famous and controversial alleged alien abductions.
