Tall Whites

The Tall Whites are a type of alleged extraterrestrial being described primarily by former U.S. Air Force weather observer Charles James Hall. According to Hall, he encountered them while stationed near Nellis Air Force Base and the Indian Springs area of Nevada during the 1960s.

Physical Appearance

Descriptions of the Tall Whites vary, but believers commonly describe them as:

Very tall, typically 6–9 feet (1.8–2.7 m) tall
Extremely thin and slender
Chalk-white or ivory-white skin
Large blue eyes (sometimes reported as glowing)
Long arms and legs
Human-like facial features, but with an unusual, otherworldly appearance
Light-colored or white hair in some reports

Some UFO researchers classify them as a branch of the broader "Nordic" alien category, although Hall insisted they were a distinct species.

Charles James Hall's Claims

Hall's account is the foundation of the Tall White mythology. He claimed that:

The Tall Whites maintained a secret base in the Nevada desert.
Certain elements of the U.S. military were aware of their presence.
The beings lived in family groups with adults and children.
They possessed highly advanced spacecraft and technology.
Some Tall Whites could disguise themselves and visit places such as Las Vegas.
They communicated partly through telepathy and partly through spoken language.

Hall published these stories in his Millennial Hospitality series, which later inspired the documentary film Walking with the Tall Whites (Available on YouTube).

Behavior and Society

According to Hall's descriptions:

Tall Whites were generally cautious around humans.
Children were curious and playful.
Adults could be intimidating and highly protective of their young.
They possessed a hierarchical society and advanced technology.
They allegedly used Earth as a stopping point during interstellar travel.

Unlike the stereotypical Grey aliens, Tall Whites are usually portrayed as independent, intelligent individuals rather than a collective species.

Relationship to Other UFO Beings

In UFO lore, Tall Whites are often compared with:

Pleiadians — tall, blond, human-looking beings, often described as benevolent Nordic-looking visitors.
Gray Aliens — short, large-headed beings associated with abduction reports.

Evidence and Skepticism

No independently verified physical evidence has ever been produced to confirm the existence of the Tall Whites. The claims are based primarily on Hall's personal testimony, books, interviews, and documentaries. Skeptics point to the lack of photographs, physical artifacts, radar records, or corroborating military documentation.

Within UFO communities, however, the Tall Whites remain one of the most discussed alleged alien races, alongside Greys, Nordics, Reptilians, and Pleiadians.

Many UFO enthusiasts consider the Tall Whites fascinating because Hall described them not as invaders or spiritual guides, but as a technologically advanced civilization quietly living alongside humanity in the Nevada desert.
