October 5, 1954 - Loctudy, Brittany, France:

Pierre Lucas' Humanoid Encounter.

On October 5, 1954, at around 4:00 a.m., bakery worker Pierre Lucas was drawing water from a well in Loctudy, Brittany, France, when he reportedly encountered a small circular craft nearby.

Lucas claimed a humanoid about four feet tall approached him. It had an oval, hairy face and unusually large eyes. The creature reportedly touched Lucas on the shoulder and spoke in a language he could not understand. In some accounts, Lucas said the strange visitor even followed him briefly into the bakery before disappearing.

When Lucas called his employer to investigate, both the being and the craft were gone. No physical evidence was reportedly found.

The encounter was covered by French newspapers within days and occurred during the enormous 1954 French UFO wave, when numerous sightings and alleged humanoid encounters were reported across the country. Although historically intriguing, the Loctudy case remains a single-witness account with no physical evidence, leaving the true nature of Lucas's bizarre encounter unresolved.
